Landing in a new city is exciting, but the trip from the airport shouldn't be the stressful part. Here's exactly what I tell every guest, depending on where you fly into and how you like to travel.
From Charles de Gaulle (CDG)
The fastest reliable option is the RER B train. It runs straight into central Paris and avoids any traffic. Buy a ticket at the station, follow the signs, and you'll be in the city in around 35 minutes.
If you're arriving late, tired, or travelling with a lot of luggage, a taxi from the official rank is simple and fixed-price to most central addresses. Skip anyone who approaches you inside the terminal.
My one tip: write down the nearest metro stop to the apartment before you fly. It makes everything easier once you land.
From Orly (ORY)
Orly is closer to the city. The tram and the Orlyval link connect smoothly to the metro, and a taxi is quick outside of rush hour. I'll always send you door-to-door directions once your stay is confirmed.
A few things worth knowing
- Keep small change or a contactless card handy for tickets.
- Download an offline map before you leave home.
- Message me your arrival time — I like to make sure check-in is smooth.
However you arrive, the keys (and a quiet, sunlit apartment) will be waiting. If you have any questions before your trip, just get in touch — I'm always happy to help.
